More Asian Nations with COVID & Vaccination Excess Deaths
Part 1 ~~ Could COVID Carnage Drive Major Geopolitical Change between the US, Japan & Asia-Pacific Alliances?
Japanese Trade Minister, Yoji Muto firmly announced on 21 October 2025, that Tokyo’s strategic focus is upon national energy import decisions, which include buying Russian oil and gas.
This is despite the increasing US pressure to stop buying Russian petro-chemical products. Minister Muto stressed;
« We recognise that LNG from Sakhalin-2 plays an extremely important role in Japan’s energy security,” he said, noting that the Russian project supplies roughly three percent of Japan’s electricity generation.
The US has intensified its campaign to cut Russian energy revenues by pressing top buyers, namely Japan, India, and China, to scale back purchases.
Washington argues that such steps would weaken Moscow’s ability to sustain its military operation in Ukraine.»
Trump Tariffs May Sink Japanese Economy
Earlier in 2025, former Japanese Prime Minister, Shigeru Ishiba faced a dangerous dilemma, accept a 25% increase from US Tariffs, or try to « negotiate » a better deal by appealing directly to the US President.
Ishiba was so desperate to lower tariffs to 15%, that;
« .. he signed on to an incredible surrender regarding Tokyo’s promise for the government to invest $550 billion in the US over the coming three years.»
« Not only does Trump get to choose the projects and the US get the lion’s share of any profits, but if Japan dares to reject any of Trump’s schemes as nonviable, Ishiba has given Trump permission to impose even higher tariffs.
The jointly-signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) says that, “In the case where Japan elects not to fund, the United States may also impose tariff rate or rates on Japanese imports into the United States at the rate determined by the President [emphasis added].»
Prime Minister Ishiba Falls ~ PM Sanae Takaichi Rises
According to this source, «.. this completely unbalanced agreement was one reason that Ishiba was ousted from his position.»
The Memorandum Of Understanding [MOU] is problematic for Japan, in that it did not require a Vote in the Diet, however, given the enormous amount of $550 Billion pledged, it could well « blow up » Japan’s govt budget.
« $550 billion is more than Japan’s entire national tax revenue of ¥75 trillion ($511 billion) in fiscal 2024.
$183 billion per year is more than Japan’s $143 billion in exports to the US.
It’s 2.4 times the foreign direct investment of Japanese companies into the US in 2024.
No wonder the new Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi, has concerns about Ishiba’s original agreement.»
Trump to Japan: US is an « ally at the strongest level »
« I want to just let you know, anytime you have an question, any doubt, anything you want, any favors you need, anything to help Japan, we will be there,» Trump stated.
PM Takaichi ~ First Policy Address Highlights
Just four days prior to the visit to Japan by Pres. Trump, new Japanese PM, Sanae Takaichi made her first policy address to the Diet ~ Parliament of Japan.
Veteran UK diplomat and former MI6 operative, Alastair Crooke, comments that the transfer of $550 billion to fund infrastructure projects in the US, could create a break in US ~ Japan relations;
« Takaishi said that she would not support the US trade war against China, and would not become an instrument of US economic pressure. She openly criticised Trump’s tariff policy, calling it « the most dangerous mistake of the 21st century.»
Reuters commented that her stance was wholly unexpected in Washington.
A big shock.
It emerged that since taking office, the new PM had held a series of meetings with the largest Japanese corporations who had conveyed a unified and urgent message to her: Simply — the Japanese economy would not survive another trade war.Then, one week after taking office, she openly expressed support for China, executing the biggest foreign policy pivot since WW2.
China was no longer the « enemy.»
